It is also called "rouge du pays" (Valais) and is probably one of the oldest red grape varieties planted in Valais. Its color is an intense purplish red. The Cornalin "Caprice du temps" is a wine with a very fruity nose, with notes of blackberries, blueberries, and wild berries. On the palate, it has beautiful round, fine, and silky tannins, which gives a beautiful harmony to the texture. The fruit taste is powerful and intense.

The wine is quite full-bodied and round at the same time. It offers a beautiful velvety texture, density, and a long finish.
